Today I worked in the barn in the morning, getting it ready to be whitewashed tomorrow. (Actually, the first thing I did was clean up a flood in the brooder house . . . it is weird how the turkeys can sometimes exert enough force on the water to pull off the hose) The barn will probably look quite nice being whitewashed, but all of the hay above will work it's way down, and become dusty mess. Reminds me of how the physics department at CMU is putting in a clean room . . . we are kinda doing the same, but without the plastic barrier so ours will fail.
Caught turkeys in the evening. They didn't walk on well, and it is hard to push on with only the left hand. Now my eyes are all bloodshot and irradiated from the dust.
Went running afterwards, ~3 miles at a good pace. Followed it up with some ab work, than soaked my hand in ice water and popped some Ibuprofen in order to keep the swelling in my hand down. Go to the doctor for that tomorrow.
