I thought that this was the year I was going to Mardi Gras. Turns out through the wonderful organizational skills that make up UT ultimate we didn't get our bid in on time. So now we are going to Eastern Qualifiers in Wilmington, NC. Seven and a half hours away. To the north (well, north east). To qualify for a tournament that we are not going to.
This actually makes me sad. No cake for you, UT.

On the bright side I have a new goal: I want to drive all of Interstate 81 in a day. Why? To see MONSTER TRUCKS! Technically 81 goes farther north than Syracuse (its at the Dome), but since I start farther south than 81, it all works out . . .
