Whip

David 2.0! (Open Gate 2011)
Grad school life has been getting a little bit busy.  In my classes we are approaching the end of the Red / Blue exercise, and Blue is pretty far behind in terms of our security arrangements, procedures, and general writeup.  Time to crack the whip!

I haven't made any progress on my trailer-wagon-bailer problem; I got sidetracked into designing a greenhouse coupled to a combined heat and power plant.  These landscape architects nowadays just don't understand physics.  There is a cool program "Virtual Grower" published by the USDA that helps in the design of greenhouses.  A nice GUI and everything, complete with crop schedules and lighting.  Very cool.  The hardest part is then not the greenhouse design, but rather making sure the CHP plant would work; since the US doesn't use CHP plants we don't learn about them.  Actually, we don't learn a lot about the steam cycle side of plants.
